American Sable

Body Type: Nose, ears, feet, and tail very fark brown, body a sepia color. Body is medium long and full, head narrow, and ears long and erected.

Angora (French)
Weight: 7 1/2 to 10 1/2 pounds.
Body Type: Medium long rounded body, ears long and erect. Face, ears, and front feet have short fur; rest of body has very long wool. Many different colors have been bred.
Special Care: This rabbit must be fed a special diet and carefully groomed every day.

Beveren
Weight: 8 - 12 pounds.
Body Type: Pear-shaped body, long erect ears, dense coat of black, blue, or white.

California
Weight: 8 - 10 1/2 pounds.
Body Type: White with black ears, nose, feet, and tail. Full-bodied with medium-length upright ears.

Checkered Giant
Weight: 12 + pounds.
Body Type: White with spots of black or blue on the nose, check, back, and hindquarters. It has a racy type body with an arch to the back. The head is relatively large; ears long and erect.
Special Care: Some rabbit owners claim this breed takes extra care becuase the racier body is more prone to injury and the large size makes handling difficult. Not for a first-time rabbit owners.

American Chinchilla
Weight: 9 - 12 pounds.
Body Type: Medium length body with well rounded hindquarters. Base of each hair is slate blue. intermediate band id pearl, top band is black. Ears are long and upright.

Cinnamon
Weight: 8 1/2 to 11 pounds.
Body Type: Cinnamon-colored rabit with gray ticking across the back. Body is medium length, well rounded; ears are large and erect.

Dutch
Weight: 3 3/12 - 5 1/2 pounds.
Body Type: Compactly built rabbits with well rounded hindquarters. There is a blaze of white on the face, and the front feet, upper torso, and toes to mid-foot of the hind feet are also white. The rest of the body is white, blue, black, chocolate, tortoise, steel or gray. Ears are genetally large and upright.
Special Care: This breed usually does well with childern.

Flemish Giant
Weight: 14 + pounds.
Body Type: Massive long body, ears long and upright. Fur is black, blue, fawn, light gray, sandy, steel or white. This rabbit takes strength to handle.

American Fuzzy Lop
Weight: 3 to 4 pounds.
Body Type: These small rabbits have a large, flatted "bulldog" face and lopped ears, and look somewhat like a Holland Lop with long fur. They have been bred in many different colors.
Special Care: This is a wool breed and will require extensive daily grooming and a special diet.

Angora (English)

Body Type: Thick wool covers the entire rabbit, including the face and the stand-up ears, giving in the appearance of a large fuzz-ball. They have been in many colors.
Special Care: These rabbits require special diets and extensive daily grooming.

Belgian Hare
Weight: 6 - 9 1/2 pounds.
Body Type: This rannit has a lean racy body that looks more like a hare's than a rabbit's. Large upright ears.
Special Care: Some rabbit owners claim it is more prone to bone fractures if mishanddled, due to the bosy type.

Britannia Petite
Weight: 2 - 2 1/2 pounds.
Body Type: These tiny, compact rabbits have relatively narrow heads and a trim, arched body line. Ears are medium long and erect. Colors include white, black, otter, chesnut, agouti (like a wild rabbit), and sable marten.
Special Care: Experienced rabbit breeders have claimed these rabbits have a tendency to be more hyper and nip more than other breeds and that they require especially careful handling because of the delicate arched body type.

Champagne D'Argent
Weight: 9 - 12 pounds.
Body Type: This unusal rabbit has a coat that changes gradually from black when very young to silver when adult. Body is medium length, full and round; ears are long and erect.

Weight: 5 - 7 pounds.
Body Type: Compact chuby-looking body of medium length. Ears long and upright. Each hair of fur has three bands of different colors; blue at the base, pearl in the middle, and black at the top.
Standard Chinchilla

Body Type: Fur is banded slate-blue, pearl, and black. Body is long and full, ears long and erect.
Giant Chinchilla

Body Type: Orange-silver-colored rabbit. Medium-length rounded body. Ears medium long and upright.
Creme D'Argent

Weight: 6 - 8 pounds.
Body Type: Racy body, long erect ears. Butterfly mark on nose, check spots, line down the back, and side spots are colored, body is white.
Special Care: Some people claim it has a rather nervous temperment.
English Spot

Weight: 4 - 6 pounds.
Body Type: Short rounded body, rounded head and short erect ears. They are white with ruby (pink) eyes.
Florida White

Giant
Weight: 8 1/2 to 9 1/2 pounds.
Body Type: These rabbits are white with ruby eyes. Compact and rounded with long wool on entire body, including tail, feet and upright ears. This rabbit has the most wool of any, because of a dense undercoat.
Special Care: It requres extensive daily grooming and a special high-protein diet.
